Compliance Audits

OSHA and USEPA both require employers to certify that they have evaluated compliance with the provisions of their respective standards at least every three years to verify that the procedures and practices developed under the standard are being followed. 

HEI’s technical staff of experts have completed compliance audits on several different processes but specialize in ammonia refrigeration system compliance.  HEI brings a wealth of knowledge through years of experience working in numerous food processing and/or storage facilities operating different systems.   

With HEI’s knowledge of both OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.119 Process Safety Management Standard and USEPA’s 40 CFR 68.71 Risk Management Plan Standard, and experience assisting numerous clients through USEPA and OSHA inspections, HEI can both audit your program in a systematic fashion with feedback from recent inspections, as well as provide useful feedback on best practices throughout the event.  HEI can help identify deficiencies before inspectors do and ensure that you are implementing a compliant program.
